Pilates for Pregnancy Workshop

PilatesLifestyle is offering a special workshop specifically developed for the pregnant body.

In pregnancy, the pressure of the growing uterus on the spine causes the centre of gravity to change.
With an increased curve in the back, and the separation of abdominal muscles, many women suffer from backache and develop poor posture during their pregnancy.

Pilates is probably the safest and one of the best possible methods of exercise and relaxation for women who are pregnant.

What you will gain from attending the workshop?

  • Understand the postural changes happening to your body and how Pilates exercises positively affects posture during pregnancy

  • Participate in exercises designed to keep the spine mobile, your back strong and your labour muscles stronger!

  • Learn breathing techniques to help you through labour

  • You will receive a comprehensive Pilates for Pregnancy manual complete with notes, exercises and photographs. You can follow the exercises in this manual throughout your pregnancy as well as afterwards as a post natal section is included in the manual.
