    A great, practical book teaching the exercises for each trimester.

  • Pilates for Pregnancy: Gentle and Effective Techniques...for Before and After Birth by Anna Selby

    Exercises designed to work the pelvic floor and strengthen the muscles supporting the spine, preparing the pregnant woman for the baby's birth.
    Suitable also for use in the months after giving birth, to help women regain a flat stomach and the "longer, leaner, stronger" physique that is unique to Pilates.     A very practical, well laid out book, which teaches Pilates exercises using the Swiss Ball. The Ball is an unstable piece of equipment and therefore excellent for developing and challenging core stability.
